Hindu nationalist supporter Amit Thapliyal and his associates stopped a Christian Sunday prayer meeting and harassed the attendees, asserting that the only religion in the village is Hinduism and that no other religion would be allowed. They accused the attendees of attending prayer meetings for money and told them to give up their Scheduled Caste (SC) reservations if they wanted to be Christians.
