Cow vigilantes brutally assaulted two elderly Christian Adivasi men, falsely accusing them of cattle smuggling. The victims were transporting their bulls and calves to a buyer to raise money for one victim’s wife’s medical treatment. Vigilantes first questioned them about the cattle and left, but later returned with a larger group and attacked them.
