Members of Hindu Jagran Manch caught and assaulted a Muslim youth for being with a Hindu girl, accusing him of “love jihad.” The mob beat him, tore his clothes, and forced him to perform sit-ups publicly as an act of humiliation. They claimed to have recovered SIM cards, a radium cutter blade, and other items from his possession. He was detained by the group for nearly two hours before they called the girl’s father to confront him and later handed him over to the police, demanding strict punishment.
