Pravin Togadia, founder and president of AHP–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, speaking at an organisational meeting, fearmongered about an alleged decline in the Hindu population and Hindu safety, and claimed that wherever Hindus become a minority, they are killed. He demanded the expulsion of those he termed “3 crore Bangladeshis” and promoted the campaign “3 bache, Hindu sache.” He urged Hindus to buy from and employ only Hindus. He further asserted that Hindus would be “the ones to beat and win.” He also called for the establishment of Hanuman Chalisa centres in every locality so that, whenever Hindus are challenged, they can mobilise collectively, claiming that such a strategy has not yet been adopted by Christians or Muslims.
