BJP leader Tapan Tapi Das visited a locality and urged Hindus not to rent houses to Muslims, warning that those who continued to lease property to Muslim tenants for money “deserved to die” and would be responsible for their own deaths. He also asserted that Muslims should be denied housing in Hindu neighbourhoods.
