Kali Sena Meeting Calls for Mass Eviction of Muslim Tenants, Threatens Violence Against Landlords

Location: Nathuwala, Dehradun, Uttarakhand

At a public meeting organised by Kali Sena, calling for the eviction of Muslims from homes and markets, several speakers used the term “Jihadi” to refer to Muslims while peddling conspiracy theories such as “love jihad,” “land jihad,” “thook jihad,” and “market jihad.” They urged property owners to evict Muslim tenants immediately, threatening violence against those who refused. They also accused Muslims of selling intoxicants and corrupting Hindu children.

Members of Kali Sena declared the local market a “Sanatani Haat” (Hindu Market) and forcibly evicted Muslim vendors. They went around questioning vendors about their names and religion, warning Muslim vendors not to return and threatening violence if they did.
