At a protest by the Market Association against an alleged case of “love jihad,” several speakers spread anti-muslim conspiracies, urging property owners to evict Muslim businesses as part of a “Safai Abhiyan.” They falsely claimed that Muslim hawkers come with the intention of “love jihad” with Hindu women to turn them into “baby-producing machines”, and are given 3-5 lakhs for trapping each Hindu girl. They state that Muslims need to be boycotted financially to curb their growth.
