Bangaluru: A young woman has filed a complaint with the Bajpe police accusing Samith Raj, a leader of Hindu Jagarana Vedike (HJV), of subjecting her to sexual assault, blackmail and threats.
According to complaint, on March 23, 2023, while she was returning home from college, she accused allegedly forced her into his car and took her a secluded spot on Airport Road, where he attempted to sexually assault her.
When she resisted and raised an alarm, he allegedly gagged her and threatened to kill her and her family she revealed the incident to anyone. The complaint further states that she accused later continued to threaten her, coerced her into sending nude photographs, and blackmailed her by saying would post them on social media.
