During the “Shaurya Kumbh” organised by VHP-Bajrang Dal, Shankaracharya Pragyananand Saraswati Maharaj employed dog-whistle rhetoric, claiming that certain cultures are fostering unrest and threatening humanity, citing Bangladesh as an example. He suggested that instead of deporting those he described as having a “demonic nature” to Pakistan or Bangladesh, they should be exterminated, as they would pose a problem when the country becomes “Akhand Bharat.”
Milind Parande, organisational secretary of VHP, peddled conspiracy theories of “love jihad” and alleged that both Christian missionaries and Muslims are attempting to convert Hindus through various means.
