Hyderabad: T Chandrasekhar, son of BJP MLA T Raja Singh, has urged Hindus not to send their daughters to gyms and zumba classes until a law against so-called ‘love jihad’ is enacted, suggesting instead that such classes be organized at home.
Speaking at a Hindu Dharma Sabha held in Jaipur, Rajasthan, two days ago, Chandrasekhar said: “you have seen love jihad, gym jihad, land jihad. Now we are seeing hookah jihad, zumba jihad. Do you want your son-in-law to be a love jihadi?”. “Until a law is enacted against love jihadis, don’t send your daughters to gym and zumba classes.”
He credited organizations like the RSS, VHP and Bajrang Dal for “protecting Hindus” and said without them, the community would face existential threats. “If we keep quiet tomorrow, Hindus will be asked their identity and attacked in the country. It already happened in Pakistan, Bangladesh, and is happening now in West Bengal, Kerala, but Hindu youth are spending time on social media,” he said.
Targeting political leaders, Chandrasekhar argued that they should work for ‘Dharma’ instead of pursuing personal political interests. He added that his father had asked him to dedicate himself to the cause of establishing a Hindu Rashtra.
“We are the last generation of people who have an opportunity to work for the Dharma. Otherwise, you will suffer like the Hindus of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh. I will go to every corner of the country and work for Hindu Dharma,” he declared.
He criticized the younger generation for being distracted by social media, alcohol and drugs, while claiming that “enemies are planning to make India an Islamic State”.
During the event, Raja Singh himself administered a pledge to the gathering, calling for the reclamation of 40,000 temples including Kashi and Mathura, and vowing to oppose ‘love jihad’ and cow slaughter.
