At a protest meeting by Hindu organisations against violence in West Bengal, Swaraj Ghuman Bhatia, a leader of Shiv Sena Hindustan, fearmongered about the Muslim population and asserted that the time had come for the “Hindu Rashtra” advocated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Pawan Gupta, the organisation’s national president, called on Hindus to take up arms alongside their religious scriptures.
