Supreme Court Lawyer Ashwini Upadhyay Calls Religious Conversions ‘A War,’ Spreads ‘Love Jihad’ and ‘Land Jihad’ Conspiracies

At a public event organized by Rashtra Sevika Samiti and the Madhya Pradesh Cultural Council, Supreme Court lawyer-activist Ashwini Upadhyay claimed that religious conversions are a ‘form of war,’ stating, “When someone converts from Hinduism, you don’t lose a Hindu— you gain a new enemy.” He also fear mongered about Bangladeshi infiltration and led a hateful oath. Additionally, he spread the conspiracies of ‘land jihad’ and ‘love jihad,’ declaring, “We need freedom from Rohingyas and Bangladeshis.”
