At a Trishul Deeksha and Bajrang Dal initiation organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad–Bajrang Dal, a Bajrang Dal leader administered an oath declaring India a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ and inducted participants for life; he said, “Once you wear these trishuls around your body, no vidharmi will mess with our shobha yatras.”
