Sri Rama Sene and Durga Sene together will distribute around 5,000 Trishuls (Tridents) among women for their protection in a function to be held in Hubballi on Sunday.

Addressing presspersons in Hubballi on Wednesday, president of Dharwad district unit of Durga Sene Poornima Kadammanavar said that the Trishuls will be distributed among high school and college students and to members of various women’s organisations in a function to be held at R.N. Shetty Kalyanamantapa near Indira Glass House in Hubballi at 10.30 a.m.

The programme will be held in the presence of Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Mutalik, Mataji Tejomayi of Srimata Ashrama, Sri Satyapramod Saraswati Swami and Mohan Guru Swamy and it will be inaugurated by Hindutva activist from Himachal Pradesh Meenakshi Sherawat.

Ms. Poornima Kadammanavar said that the objective is to help girls and women become strong and counter attacks on them by miscreants.
