Two Muslim men brutally assaulted by Hindutva vigilantes in Madhya Pradesh (Muslim Mirror)

By Muslim Mirror Desk

In two separate incidents on the same day, Hindutva vigilantes from Bajrang Dal and allied groups publicly assaulted and humiliated Muslim men in Madhya Pradesh, accusing them of “love jihad” and blackmailing Hindu women.

In the first case in Bhopal, a group of Bajrang Dal workers stormed a flat in Tanishq Apartments, Ayodhya Nagar, forcibly entered, and attacked a Muslim motor mechanic identified as Danish Khan. They alleged he had created a fake Hindu identity (“Rohit Yadav”) on social media to “mislead Hindu girls”. After thrashing him inside the flat in the presence of a woman, the activists paraded him and handed him over to Ayodhya Nagar police, who registered a case and arrested him.

Hours later in Chhatarpur district, members of Bajrang Dal and Hindu Jagran Manch caught 22-year-old Anas Khan at Hotel Adarsh Plaza on Panna Road (owned by a local BJP leader). They accused him of blackmailing a Hindu girl for months using her obscene photos and videos to extort money.

Videos that surfaced online show Anas being brutally beaten, forced to eat filth from a drain, having the waste smeared on his face, and then dragged by his hair for nearly a kilometre from Civil Lines to the police station while activists recorded the humiliation.

No immediate action was reportedly taken against the vigilantes in either case, despite the assaults occurring in front of bystanders and, in Chhatarpur, being filmed extensively.
