The head of education in Muzaffarnagar, Muzaffarnagar Basic Shiksha Adhikari Shubham Shukla, informed that over a hundred madrasas in the area are running without the proper paperwork, going against the rules.
The Indian Muslim organization, Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, strongly objected to the notice sent to the madrasas, labeling the education department’s directive as “against the law.”
Maulana Zakir Husain, the bigwig at Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, lashed out and said that the order is ‘unlawful’.
Maulana Zakir Husain, the secretary of the Uttar Pradesh division of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, claimed that the madrasas in the region are facing undue pressure through these unlawful notices, seemingly aimed at singling out a specific community.
