At the Shaurya Sabha organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal, a Bajrang Dal leader demonized Muslims in a hate-filled speech. He accused Muslims, whose ancestors he claimed “did not fight,” of seeking to impose Sharia law in India. He framed the situation as a clash between the civilizations of “Lord Ram and Aurangzeb.” The leader vilified Muslims, urging those who “want to eat beef and make maazars” to leave for Pakistan. He also falsely alleged that 15 million Rohingyas live in the country and targeted Bangladeshi and Rohingya refugees. His speech propagated the baseless conspiracies of ‘love jihad’ and ‘population jihad,’ called for an economic boycott of Muslims, and incited violence.
