Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Khagendra Bhargava targeted the Muslim community in his speech during a protest against the killing of tourists in Pahalgam. He urged Hindus to arm themselves and claimed that India belongs solely to Hindus, as Muslims were given Pakistan during Partition. He alleged that all Muslims are alike, stating that it makes no difference whether a Muslim is a Vice President or a Member of Parliament, as they all follow the same teachings as Aurangzeb and Babur. He asserted that conflicts in the country would continue as long as their religious education persists.
