
Three Muslim men — Aamir (28), Wasim (28), and Rizwan (24) — were allegedly stopped on the road in Partapur village of Hapur district, Uttar Pradesh, on Tuesday evening, August 26, asked their names to confirm they were Muslims, and then brutally beaten with sticks and metal rods while being forced to chant “Jai Shri Ram.”

The attack occurred when the three friends, Aamir, Wasim, and Rizwan, were returning to Kalcheena, their village, from Pilkhuwa on a motorcycle after completing their work.
They were stopped by 4 Hindu men in Partapur village, road heading to Shamli district, and were asked to disclose their names, and then beaten.
The attackers were identified as Deepak, Nikhil, JJ Kant, and Pankaj.
Two of the youths, Aamir and Rizwan, somehow managed to escape, while the third, Wasim, was allegedly tied by the assailants and brutally thrashed.
Wasim was rescued and rushed to the hospital by the family after they were informed about the incident. He is currently admitted to the J.S. Hospital in Pilkhuwa in a critical condition.
Speaking to Maktoob, Afroz, Wasim’s brother and also the complainant in the case, said, “On their way back, they were stopped near Partapur village by four Hindu men identified as Deepak, Nikhil, JJ Kant, and Pankaj. We have filed a complaint at the police station and demand a fair probe.”
