At a Vishwa Hindu Parishad-Bajrang Dal Shaurya Yatra, a Bajrang Dal leader made provocative statements, urging the crowd to shout so loudly that even the “hearing impaired” would recognize that Kashi and Mathura are ready for reclamation. He glorified the Babri Masjid demolition and recalled the karsevaks chanting, “Ek dhakka aur do, Babri dhancha tod do.” The leader stressed the importance of reclaiming Kashi and Mathura, pointing out that after Muslims refused to hand over the sites, they turned to the courts. He proposed adopting a similar strategy for Bhogshala and Sambhal.
