At a Dahi Handi event organised by multiple far-right organisations, including Sri Ram Sangh, its President Sagar Baig, demonised Indian Muslims using Mughal history. He targeted India’s first education minister, Abul Kalam Azad, calling him a “landiya” and said, “Our first education minister was a landa himself; that’s why our history is so distorted. If he was landa, how would he know anything about Indian history and culture?”
