In Fursungi, Pune, vigilantes assault ex-minister over cow stance

Location: Fursungi, Pune, Maharashtra

Cow vigilantes assaulted former Maharashtra minister and MLA Sadabhau Khot after he told them they had no right to seize animals from traders or dump them at gaushalas and police stations. Khot accused a powerful lobby of running “corporate offices” in the name of cow protection and warned that vigilantes were harassing farmers. He demanded government action and threatened to set up animal camps outside police stations if the harassment continued.
