In Junagadh, Togadia seeks expulsions; hails Ram temple demolition

Location: Junagadh, Gujarat

At a meeting organised by Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad – Rashtriya Bajrang Dal on the agenda of imposing the Disturbed Areas Act in Junagadh, President Pravin Togadia gloated about “removing all Muslims from Ahmedabad” during Kesubhai Patel’s tenure. He targeted Muslims in Junagadh, repeatedly invoking Pakistan and demanding, “Is Junagadh in Pakistan or what?” Togadia praised the “Ashant Dhara” (Disturbed Areas Act), which restricts Muslims from buying property in Hindu-majority areas, and demanded its imposition in Junagadh. He warned that if it was not implemented peacefully, “we know the technique of squeezing the nose and opening the mouth.”

Togadia fearmongered about Hindu population decline, called for a population control law targeting Muslims, and demanded the expulsion of “3 crore Bangladeshi infiltrators”. He urged Hindus to buy and employ only within their community. He declared, “We broke that Babar’s mosque and made our Ram Temple,” and insisted the Disturbed Areas ACT will be expanded nationwide to stop Muslims from “increasing their population and creating trouble”.
