In Sivasagar, Hindutva group threatens Muslim vendors and orders them to leave market

Location: Sivasagar, Assam

Jatiyo Sangrami Sena members threatened Bengali-origin Muslim vendors in a farmers’ market, ordering them to shut their stalls and leave within 10 minutes, as part of their campaign that no “Miya” would be allowed to live or work in Upper Assam. Police later arrested four members for issuing the threats.
