Members of the Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP)–Rashtriya Bajrang Dal staged a protest and submitted a memorandum demanding a ban on Muslims at Navratri garba events, invoking the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad.” They called for Aadhaar checks at venues and for Muslims to be barred from organizing garba programs. They claimed that allowing Muslim participation and filmy songs would insult Sanatan Dharma and warned that if tensions arose from their actions, the administration would be held responsible.
