Bajrang Dal members staged a protest over claims that a Hindu cremation ground had been captured and turned into a Muslim cemetery. They uprooted a Waqf Board sign at the site and submitted a memorandum to the SDM against the alleged “illegal encroachment.” During the demonstration, protesters raised slogans including “bhoomi jihad band karo” (stop land jihad), “avaidh kabza band karo” (stop illegal encroachment), and “bhoomi harapne walo ko, gudde maro” (beat those who usurp land).
