At a meeting organised by Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj Pratishthan and Samasta Hindu Aghadi, Praveen Togadia, President of Antarashtriya Hindu Parishad, claimed Makkah and Madinah once “belonged to Hindus,” compared Muslims to “monsters,” and said his goal was to unite Hindus “to fight with swords.” He described the Ram Mandir as a response to “Islamic jihad” and fearmongered about the Muslim population since 1947.
