BJP leader Madan Joshi conducted an awareness campaign at a local school against “love jihad,” promoting the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory. He claimed that “jihadis” loiter outside schools to target Hindu girls, citing The Kerala Story and alleging similar incidents in Ramnagar. Joshi narrated a story in which Muslim girls allegedly befriend Hindu girls to lead them to Muslim men, and claimed Muslim men disguise themselves with a kalava and tilak to deceive Hindu girls. He further alleged that these actions were backed by foreign funding, linked them to a decline in the Hindu population, and threatened to demolish the houses of those accused of “love jihad.”
