Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, speaking at the Times of India Conclave, targeted the Muslim community over the clash during an “I love Mohammad” poster campaign in Bareilly. He said the “maulana in Bareilly forgot whose rule it is” and warned that alleged rioters would be punished so severely that “seven generations will remember.” He further remarked that when “bad habits” persist, “denting-painting” becomes necessary.
