VHP–Bajrang Dal leader Tannu Sharma delivered a speech peddling the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad.” He derogatorily referred to Muslims as “jihadis” and modern-day demons while urging an audience of women to “slay” and retaliate, invoking the religious symbolism of Durga and Kalka Mata to encourage resistance. Sharma warned that if any party worker were harmed, their group would kill “hundreds” of jihadis in retaliation.
