At a Sant Sammelan, far-right monk Yati Narasimhanand Giri Maharaj delivered a speech targeting Muslims. He fearmongered about a “demographic shift,” comparing “empty Hindu houses” to “crowded mosques,” and claimed that within ten years, the Ram Mandir, “earned after 500 years of struggle,” would be demolished as Muslims would exponentially outnumber Hindus. He accused Muslims of following the doctrine of Ghazwa-e-Hind from their scriptures and described Islam as “an organised gang of criminals.” He alleged that Muslims would enslave and “sell Hindu women in markets”, claiming that “no temple will remain” and that “India will become an Akhand Muslim Rashtra” if a Muslim becomes Prime Minister in 2029. He added that if Yogi Adityanath is no longer the Chief Minister, people would “salute” the protesters involved in the Bareilly clashes.
