In Panipat, leader calls mosques “terror hubs” and peddles “jihad” conspiracies

Location: Panipat, Haryana

AHP – Rashtriya Bajrang Dal leader Munish Bhardwaj delivered a speech targeting Muslims at an organisational meeting, vilifying mosques and madrasas as “centers of terrorism” and “breeding grounds for jihadis.” He praised Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath’s crackdown following the Bareilly clashes on September 26 and questioned why Muslims “only come out on Fridays,” alleging that namaz is not a prayer but a “tool for jihad,” and calling Friday prayers “a concept for jihad.” Bhardwaj further peddled the conspiracy theories of “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and religious conversion, urging Hindus to counter these through collective recitations of the Hanuman Chalisa at Hanuman Chalisa Kendras, framing them as efforts to resist such threats.
