At a “Chhath Puja Samaroh” by VHP-Bajrang Dal, a speaker asserted that Chhath Puja is a Hindu festival and should remain free of “jihadis” (jihadiyon se mukt). He further remarked that the vegetables, fruits, flowers, and all other items related to Chhath Puja should also remain free of those referred to as “jihadis”.
