At the Surya Shashthi Vrat ‘Chhath Puja’ festival, CM Puskhar Singh Dhami highlighted his government’s measures to maintain the culture and demographic composition of Devbhoomi. He spoke about the implementation of laws targeting religious conversion, riots, “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “thook jihad,” asserting that strict action had been taken against accused “land jihad mafias.” Dhami claimed the government had “reclaimed” over 9,000 acres of government land, demolished more than 400 shrines and mosques, closed more than 250 madrasas, which he termed were “illegal,” and introduced a bill to dissolve the madrasa board. He further mentioned “Operation Kalnemi,” a campaign against those allegedly harming Sanatan Sanskriti.
