AHP-Rashtriya Bajrang Dal members raided an Imam’s residence where he was teaching children, accusing him of running an illegal madrasa and claiming that “madrasa education means jihadi education.” They chanted “Jai Shri Ram” and declared that “madrasa training will not be allowed in Lumding.” The Imam alleged that they assaulted him and vandalised the property.
