Authorities demolished the Badi Dargah and the Chhoti Dargah in a large-scale operation involving over 200 police personnel, removing more than 1,400 structures termed “illegal,” including seven houses, and claiming the dargah land records contained over 1,500 alleged alterations showing government land falsely registered under the Waqf Board.
