Hindu nationalist supporters, including BJP MLA Meenakshi Singh, staged a protest against the purchase of a house by a Muslim family near a temple in the locality, calling it “land jihad.” During the demonstration, one protester claimed that if the government changes, all these temples and houses would be converted into mosques, and termed it a conspiracy. The seller clarified he had been trying to sell the house for a long time due to financial reasons and denied any pressure.
