In Bhopal, Mahant Raju Das Urges Hindus to Turn ‘Kattar’ and Targets Minorities

Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

Far-right monk Mahant Raju Das urged Hindus to become “kattar” (extremist) to protect Sanatan Dharma. He described Muslims as “Kalnemi” (evil forces) carrying out various forms of “jihad” and portrayed religious minorities as threats to Hindu women and culture. He claimed that Hindus had been ruled by “thieves” for 800 years, casting Muslims as historical oppressors. He further accused Christian institutions of orchestrating mass conversions, alleging that a university vice-chancellor posed as a Hindu religious figure and bribed people to convert. He cited this to justify Ghar Wapsi and praised Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government for jailing the accused vice-chancellor.
