Jai Bhagwan Goyal, BJP leader and president of the United Hindu Front, at an event commemorating the Babri demolition, declared that “whoever digs the foundation of Babri, we will go and bury them in the same foundation,” referring to the symbolic Babri mosque being built by suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir in West Bengal. Participants also brandished swords and chanted slogans declaring India a “Hindu Rashtra.”
