During a Geeta Path event organised by the Sanatan Sanskriti Sansad, Hindu nationalist supporters assaulted a Muslim vendor selling chicken patties, humiliated him, and vandalised his cart, objecting to the sale of non-vegetarian food on the ground. The victim said several other vendors selling chicken patties were also targeted, even though they had offered to leave the venue.
