At a Shaurya Diwas event organised by the VHP–Bajrang Dal at Agrasen Circle, a speaker invoked the Babri demolition and the Ram Mandir movement, declaring that “Mathura and Kashi are yet to be taken over” and that they will take them. He promoted the anti-Muslim conspiracy theories of “love jihad” and “land jihad.” He referred to Muslims as “jihadis” and “vidharmis,” and claimed that their children are taught to kill kaffirs in madrasas, mosques, and in their homes. He fearmongered over the Muslim population and accused Muslim migrant hawkers from Uttar Pradesh of “illegally settling” and building a mosque on encroached government land. He urged people to “fight jihadis and their mentality” and demanded the removal of the mosque.
