At the Vishwa Hindu Parishad–Bajrang Dal’s Shaurya Diwas and Trishul Deeksha, Shrimahant Shri Mangalpuri urged attendees to “use these trishuls to protect your sisters and our religion,” framing weapons as tools of self-preservation when “democracy fails.” He claimed vidharmis and Muslims stockpile weapons and stones, demanded that Hindus have five children, recited a hateful poem targeting minorities, and asserted that India belongs only to Hindus.
A senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader then promoted violence using an alleged story of Shivaji cutting off a butcher’s arms for slaughtering a cow. He glorified the Babri Masjid demolition, praised the Godhra violence and the Bajrang Dal’s “response,” and framed the Naroda Patiya and Sardarpur massacres as justified. He also accused the Congress party of “vote-bank politics.”
Neeraj Doneriya, National President of the Bajrang Dal, claimed everything is being given to “Islamic jihadis” and minorities while Hindus still have not reclaimed 30,000 temples. He glorified the Babri Masjid demolition, called the structure a “kalank ka tika,” and spread the conspiracies of ‘love jihad’ and ‘land jihad’. He repeatedly fearmongered about “land jihad” and promoted violence against alleged “Islamic jihadis.”At the end of the event, 11,000 participants raised their trishuls and took an oath to protect Hinduism and India.
