At ‘From Self-Employment to Employment’ programme organised at MB Food Processing Plant Buggawala, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted his government’s measures in the implementation of laws against religious conversion, riots, “love jihad,” “land jihad,” and “thook jihad.” He claimed that action against “land jihad” had led to the “freeing” of over 10,000 acres of government land from alleged encroachment. Dhami referenced an initiative called “Operation Kalnemi” and the bill that dissolved the madrasa board, adding that only those madrasas in Uttarakhand that teach the syllabus prescribed by their respective education boards would be allowed to operate.
