VHP–Bajrang Dal members, led by Brajendra Prajapati, raided the hotel room of an interfaith couple and brutally assaulted the Muslim man, accusing him of engaging in “love jihad.” They paraded him through the area while continuing the assault before handing him over to the police. The members later gathered outside the police station and chanted slogans calling for those accused of “love jihad” to be beaten with shoes and hanged.
