Cow-vigilantes accused a Muslim man, with valid license, of illegally transporting beef on his motorcycle. They assaulted the man, beating him and vandalising his bike. They also allegedly seized his valid legal documents. A case was registered under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against the vigilantes, with reportedly two of the named accused, Anuj Pandit and Sheelu Rajput, were arrested.
