VHP-Bajrang Dal held a Trishul Deeksha event and Shaurya Yatra, during which attendees took an oath while holding trishuls to work as members of the Bajrang Dal for the development of a “Hindu Rashtra.” They also carried out a march while brandishing swords, trishuls, and other weapons, dancing to a song with lyrics stating, “we will cut those who cut cow mother.”
During a Trishul Deeksha event organised by VHP–Bajrang Dal, a speaker targeted Muslims, describing them as “cowardly Hindus who put on salwars in front of the sword” and now live as Muslims. He asserted the importance of weapons training, invoking past rulers. He also peddled the conspiracy theory of “love jihad.” He targeted Christians as well, claiming they engage in religious conversion, and criticised Hindus for sending their children to missionary schools.
