Hindu Raksha Dal members distributed swords door to door, claiming they were meant to be used to “cut mullahs and vidharmis” if a Bangladesh-like situation were to arise. They warned that if they found any “Bangladeshi,” they would be treated “exactly like how Hindus have been treated in Bangladesh.” They derogatorily referred to Muslims as “dogs” and “jihadis,” asserting they are distributing weapons to Hindus so they can protect their homes and women from “jihadis.”
