In Garhwa, VHP–Bajrang Dal Event Targets Muslims and Christians Over Conversions

Location: Garhwa, Jharkhand

At a VHP–Bajrang Dal “Balidan Diwas” event, a speaker alleged that people are converting to Christianity and Islam for money and greed and claimed Hindu women are being targeted through “love jihad.” He alleged the presence of “durachari (vicious)” forces conspiring to break India and Hinduism, promoted the anti-Muslim conspiracy theory of “love jihad,” accusing both Muslims and Christians of alleged illegal religious conversions of the poor through inducement, as well as cow smuggling and cow killing, claiming these acts give birth to terrorists like “Umar.” He invoked figures like Guru Gobind Singh, asserting that dharma and the motherland are supreme and that ancestors were willing to kill or be sacrificed against “adharmi” and “vidharmi,” and claimed “Islamic and Christian terrorism” is conspiring to fragment India and targeted Convent schools. He further alleged that “Islamic, jihadi extremist forces” conduct terrorist activities in India while claiming some people remain silent, yet raise slogans in support of Palestine and Hamas, labelling them as “traitors” and questioning their silence on violence against Hindus in Bangladesh. He called for a pledge for Bharat Mata, declaring that anyone who challenges the unity, integrity, and harmony of Bharat Mata would be eliminated from India and the earth.
