RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhatt, speaking at a Deepotsava event, asked those who won’t chant “Vande Mataram” to leave the country, claiming if one wants to reside, they have to consider it their “mother”, chant “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” not slaughter cattle and pray cows instead. He also invoked the anti-Muslim conpiracy theories of “love jihad” and religious conversion. He claimed that only Hindu prayers wish the goodwill of everyone in the world, alleging Muslims and Christians only wish the goodwill of those who follow their god.
