In Delhi, Rajni Thakural Spreads Anti-Muslim and Anti-Christian Conspiracies

Location: Delhi

Rashtriya Mahila Parishad and Ojaswini leader Rajni Thakural alleged that women are being found “cut into 50 pieces” or burned, despite being revered as Durga in Hindu mythology. She made anti-Muslim and anti-Christian remarks concerning marriage and family structures, claiming Hindu children are not taught about other religions. She alleged that Islam permits marriage of young girls to relatives, accused Muslims of incestuous practices, and claimed women have no agency in marriage, citing “mehr,” “triple talaq,” and “halala.” She further alleged that Muslim men conceal their identity by wearing Hindu symbols like “kalava” and “tilak” to trap Hindu women outside schools and colleges, and claimed Christianity follows “contract marriages.” She promoted the establishment of “Hanuman Chalisa centres” to train women to arm themselves against perceived threats.
